The past few weeks have been filled with many firsts for Maia. We'll post them as we have time, but they include sitting up, first bath in real bathtub (if a giant inflatable duck counts as a real tub), first wedding and big party, first time in a restaurant high chair, and first baseball game!

In moving news, Andy has a defense date- August 24. This is the day he will go before his thesis committee and after some grilling, will emerge triumphantly as Dr. Andy. We have a mover picked out, they are going to load our stuff around August 28. We decided, due to time and money constraints, not to make a trip up to find an apartment before we actually move, so we are either going to pick something with the help of Andy's new boss, or get up there and stay in a hotel until we find a place.
